I crave the ocean. I crave the beach. Especially since we've been living back in the Northwest. The ocean feels so open, free, and somehow really helps clear my mind when I can look out on the endless sea. The boys and I spent a wonderful morning by the river exploring the trails and banks. It was awesome; sandy, warm, sunny, and hardly crowded. About ten times Weston said "Mom, thanks so much for bringing us here!" The Willamette is not quite the ocean, but it was wonderful, especially with the city in the background and just what we needed.

The boys had a fast and furious (sometimes VERY furious), weekend together at our house. These two are a site to see. Entertaining each other beautifully one minute and bringing out the most dramatic fits the next. At least Merrick got lots of cuddles... Weston got a black eye and Spencer a huge knot on the forehead. But I wouldn't trade these memories for anything. Love you Grammy, Spencer and Chi Chi.

At least once during the day, whenever he gets the chance, this is where you'll find Merrick.
Obsessed with the broom. He thinks it's hilarious, the broom. He'll play with it over any toy.
He's got personality, oh yes, this once mild mannered, angel baby is in full bloom. Not to mention growing tremendously.
