A week of adventures

We thought we'd show the Lee's a little bit of what we like to do in Portland... well, what Weston likes to do... We started at OMSI. Jo Jo and Alex loved it! Weston showed them all his fun tricks!

I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. Weston confidently walked up all the stairs with Doug, Angelina and the girls. Then he must have slipped as he climbed on the potato sack. He was wobbling and shaking as he almost tumbled over on his way down, not to mention the priceless look on his face. I wish you could have seen him... I couldn't even take another picture I was laughing so hard.

Fun in the sun with my very beautiful, older and charming girlfriend Alex!

Our friends, the Lee family, came to visit us for a whole week! We were so blessed by their company; Doug's one of the world's best cooks, Angelina did my laundry and much more and the kids played really well together. Thanks so much for your company and friendship! Weston and Alex were hilarious after warming up to one another, they got along like best buddies.

And a little craziness with the hose always makes for a fun summer day!

Super Hero part 2

Grandma Joyce sent us a package a few days ago... A brand new personalized super hero cape and mask! It is too perfect, with a W on the cape, Weston is running around doing karate moves and scaring us all day:) Thanks Grandma Joyce! Thanks for your prayers for Spencer Jack. He is much better now after recovering from a yucky case of Rotavirus. His mommy has done a great job of taking care of him and they are enjoying the sunshine and feeling good! Doesn't this just break your heart? Weston's best friend and cousin has been in the hospital with a horrible fever and flu. You're so brave Spencer! We're praying for you!

Snuggle time

Besides wrestling Dad, Weston's favorite thing to do before story time is talk and snuggle with Merrick. He's such a sweet big brother, very helpful and gentle. We're so proud of him!

A good day

Everyday we ask Weston how his day was. "Good", he answers very punctually. At night he says "I had a fun day Mom". He is such a talker lately, telling us every detail of every event. And learning how to say "excuse me", when Ryan and I are talking, although now he thinks it's really funny and says it constantly. These were some big kids skating at the park. They caught his attention for quite some time.

Grandma Joyce came to visit us and take Weston on some adventures! He was quite the city traveler, riding the bus, exploring the city and making everything into a game.
