Although this is our least favorite day to celebrate, we embraced Weston's love for dressing up and headed down our block to say hi to all our wonderful neighbors with our friend Kaitlyn dressed as the cutest little monkey. West was so into it, yelling before he even reached the door. Merrick would not have anything to do with a costume. But he sure was on a mission to follow his brother and Kaitlyn everywhere. Now that they're in bed, the candy gets sorted, hidden, trashed, and of course eaten by me!

I wish we could have "trick or treated" together! Some year for sure. I got lots of yummy candy too... and mommy sent it ALL to daddys house so there would be no temptation :) I love you and your brother so much!
We would have loved to come by your house! I was never into this holiday until I realized how fun it is for Jared. And the candy makes the BEST bribery tools when desperate! We were in turmoil, that night, because all I wanted to do was watch the Giants game, but I did the best I could to be fully present for my kids. Praise the Lord the Giants won! :-) And is that an iphone i see on the table...? :-) Love you friend! And I still looooove my hair. Life changing, I tell you. :-)
Grandpa George knows that your mommy probably ate more than her fair share of candy that night and the next day and the next day and the next day! Grandpa know her ver well! I'm glad you all had a great time! I love you!
